It was a great year for going, because well it just was. I have great friends and my dear friend was able to go with me this time. I couldn’t be any happier. All my favorite things wrapped up in a yarny ribbon, could it get any better than that.
It’s a three day event but I went Saturday and Sunday. Saturday I went with my one of my best mates Mary. With good intentions to leave at 9am but the it seemed that we both suffered from a little snoozebutton-itis. It’s all good it’s Saturday after all. I peeled myself out of bed, dressed myself, slurped my coffee, packed a little lunch, kissed my kiddos adios, and off to pick up Mary. We arrived and out came out our cameras to take pictures of all the beautiful colors, to bad the pictures can’t really capture the full experience. Well minus the llama and cashmere goats in the show barn smells. But some of the fiber combinations create some of the softest yarns. Like an alpaca, wool, silk blend, or bison, silk and alpaca blend. Lots and lots of hand painted yarns, the color combinations that my camera just don’t capture as well. Let me share with you some highlights of this weekends pics and tomorrow I’m going to chat a little more about it.

Enjoy your Blog articles on Yarn and Knitting. My son is my knitter and crocheter and has made some awesome afghans and scarfs for me. My Blog is more about Beads, and I know beads are often used in conjunction with Yarn Work to add special effects. Thanks for sharing.
