I played and played with brushes, and my pen, and nothing looked right. It’s March, lets keep it simple. Simple like a knit and purl stitch for if it wasn’t for these two simple stitches we wouldn’t have anything to do with our hands and sharp pointy sticks.
Knitting update. I have finished quite a few projects and lots to upload and share, but I have been lazy and slacking in my blogging responsibilities. I’ve also been a little ill. I don’t know if I want to call it a flare up, but pain and intense fatigue is involved, but everything is brightening up and I feel much better so soon you will be seeing some post on this site.

I want to thank my friends and family for your great support. We had a lovely evening New Years Eve here at the yarnage house. I hope that you did as well. Here is a quick post. This week I hope to post a few new things I have been working on. Enjoy and Happy New Year!

I made the pledge to that this Christmas at least half of the gifts I give will be handmade. Either made from me or purchased from an artisan.
I swore I wouldn’t do any Christmas knits this year but I caved. Although one of the knits isn’t really a Christmas gift, but it is December so the lines have blurred and now my brain has determined that I must finish this one right away.
The Hand Made Gift Guide is the place to go. Check it out maybe you can do some of your shopping there.

Warm Holiday Greetings from the Yarnage house to yours. I hope you all enjoy this wallpaper as much as I enjoyed making it. The background pattern is yarn. A happy little accident that reminded me of a Christmas tree pine all that was missing was the snow. If you are curious about the yarn I used it was Brooks Farm test yarn. EXP Mohair YRL (100%YRL Mohair). 4 oz/275 yards.
It has some beautiful colors in it, reds, rusts, & greens. I had to get it even though I didn’t have a plan for it. After my Christmas knitting is all done I think this will be next in my queue.
Merry Christmas Y’all! and Happy Holidays!
