  1. Yarn Bomb Spotted

    July 27, 2011 by enid

Well it wasn’t spotted it was more stripey. To my delight I found a yarn bomb in my city, the first one I’ve ever seen here. But then again I live under a rock. So there could possibly be more here. But for now here it is I put together a little slide show for your  Yarn Bombing:The Historic Pearl Brewery – CIA Bakery Cafe

    Knit graffiti

And after doing a little research I found the team that put that piece together they call themselves the Yarn Dawgz. Founding members, Billy Muñoz & Dino Foxx are painting the town AWESOME one ball of yarn at a time. I will be keeping an eye out in anticipation to see what these dawgz have in store for us. If I’m lucky maybe I can throw a little string on something with them one day too. How exciting would that be. 🙂

I wonder what the neighborhood association minions would do if somebody wrapped all the mailboxes in yarn in our neighborhood. *snicker* I’m going to leave that one alone, and leave it to the professionals.

I also found a group creating a Yarn Graffiti Documentary. They are in their last days of fundraising so maybe if you want and can you help them out. I would love to see this dream come to fruition.
